Multi Volume Opacity Blends
ffA’s proprietary Opacity blending tool is unique in its concept.
Up to five volumes can be co-rendered in the same space to investigate the spatial
correlation between multiple types of information such as, structure, stratigraphy and fluid effects.
Opacity blends provide a deeper insight into the:
- Geological interplay between identified structures and stratigraphic bodies.
- Geometry of identified features and their relationship to potential prospects.
Opacity blends are created using a rapid preview tool for parameter setting.
- Attributes or colour blends are selected that highlight the different geological features within the data.
- Each attribute or blend is assigned its own unique opacity level to produce the blend.
This gives rich visual information generated by combining attributes and shows features in terms of the horizon surface rather than the volume grid.
