Getting the system’s lmhostid on Windows™ XP

Run Step 1

Select the “Run” command from the Windows™ Start Menu.
Step 2

In the “Run Program” dialog box, type “cmd” and press OK.

ipconfig Step 3

At the command prompt type “ipconfig /all” and hit return.
Step 4

Locate the line named “Physical Address” for the “Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection”.
Note: This is not necessarily the first Ethernet adapter listed!
This 12 digit, hyphen separated, value is the lmhostid. Enter this value on the evaluation application form.
