March 2003: SEA 3D from ffA running on the new GeoViz API
Schlumberger Information Solutions (SIS) has joined forces with ffA to bring SIS customers direct
access to SEA 3D™ in the GeoViz® 3D interpretation and visualisation application.
SEA 3D™ for GeoViz
offers a flexible and powerful combination of advanced interactive tools for rapid, objective volume
interpretation. Designed with the user in mind, it can be applied at every stage of the interpretation
cycle.
SEA 3D™ is the first third-party software to work interactively with the new GeoViz application programming
interface (API). It processes volumes previously loaded in GeoViz and produces results that are immediately visible
in 3D view, ready to be used within the interpretation workflow.
The SIS-ffA joint development reflects both companies' commitment to create the best-in-class software
solution for converting 3D seismic data into valuable information.
